My daughter is 15 now. I remember her complaining about achy legs many times. In the last year she has suffered from extreme leg pains. After x-ray each time, the orthopedic doctor found what he’s calling fibronomas which are lesions on her leg bones. Still can’t get a definitive answer from the endo about whether or not they are caused by the CAH or any meds she is taking. As for the energy level, it’s very difficult for Cody to maintain much energy. She is usually on too much meds because her testosterone levels are always high. We even get up at 5:30 in the morning to exercise for 30 minutes before getting ready for school. She can do the exercises, but it takes so much more for her than me to get her heart rate up. She can actually go back to bed for 30 minutes while I take a shower. If I exercise too late in the evening, I’m up for a while because it has me wired. Not a problem for her! She actually goes back to sleep! My suggestion is that you just have to keep on the doctors to check things out. We went to the doctor twice before they sent us for ex-rays. They just told us it was growing pains one time, and the next time they told us to wear better shoes when exercising. Finally, after the x-ray, they referred us to an orthopedic doctor. Doctors tend to ignore you sometimes, and you know your daughter better than anyone. Trust your instincts and good luck.Marcia
