Hi, I am 35 and SWCAH. I have gone threw so many different side effects over the years. And still the Endo believes that long term steriods don’t cause side effects. I now have to have bone density scans, heart monitoring, endoscopy, blood tests monthly. I have been physchotic, suicidal, deep depression, insomnia for days, no appetite, all my heart problems and all the endo can say is it has nothing to do with the steriods no matter how many medical papers i give him he says it is all in my head.

I wish I could give him CAH for a month and the doses i have been on and see how he feels. Some of the doctors need to realise that there are not GOD and we are the ones living with this condition and do at times no more than them. He wouldn’t listen about my heart problems been caused by steriods. When the Cardiologist said the damage to my heart has been caused by the long term steriod use. I have a great local doctor who is wanting to know more.
