It’s the same, people with Addison’s do suffer from depression. I feel it’s the messed up cortisol (period) that makes people depressed. There are so many abstracts and article concerning cortisol and bipolar-depression-PTS- you can pretty much name it. Cortisol is there and has something to do with it.

My friend Donna, had her adrenals removed. She is having a hard time and no one seems to know what to do about it.

The side effects are the same except for hair growth without treatment, provided they truely have addisons and not locah. They also get stretch marks, weight gain, and hair or acne with overtreatment. They too after being or cortisol for a while can have an adrenal crisis.

Also Kelly’s daughter has locah, therefor her adrenals do work, maybe not on their own so much right now but they could. God forbid if there were not any pills to take.
