KarenI have PCOS and my ovaries look OK on ultrasounds. We always thought that only my left ovary must be affected because I have pain there and they’d never been able to get a good picture of it. Then they finally did and it looked perfect, just like the right one. Go figure. I think the cysts can come and go, which would explain why my ovary pain is intermittent. I have LOCAH and insulin resistance (and hypo-thyroid too), but was diagnosed with PCOS before any of the rest of it.
It helps me to remember that our hormones are all tied in with each other.
