Sorry - I hit enter by mistake!  I told my pediatrician at my children’s annual check-up that 1) my daughter was only getting her period every 4 months or so and 2) my son was 7 years old and had perspiration odor.  She said don’t worry.  Everything’s fine.  I persisted and it turned out that my son had LOCAH and my daughter had PCOS.  The same thing happened with my niece - her doctor said - no periods - not a big deal.  She also had PCOS and diabetes.  Unfortunately there is a lot of incompetence out there and we really have to do our own research and listen to our gut.  If we think there’s something wrong the doctors need to follow up.
