Wow, what a night we had last night.

Firstly I was asleep and awoke about 2am with a dreadful stomach pain and proceeded to go into shock with extreme pallor of the skin and lips, cold clammy skin, sweating, floppy, nausea and vomiting. My husband was wonderful, fetching and carrying!!

Next our son came home, totally drunk about 3am (only the second time in 6 years) but he was soooo sick, eyes rolling back, vomiting etc.  so my poor husband was then running around after him. Silly, silly boy!

About 4am, hubby got a terrible bout of diarrhoea, so he was out of action. Then my vomiting continued so I gave myself hydrocortisone and started to settle down.

By about 5:30am eventually things started to settle down, all the lights were finally out and we all fell asleep - hoping for a sleep-in.....

At 10am my mother phoned to say could I take her to the hospital as she had bad asthma overnight and was feeling unwell. So I spent the rest of the day with her in the emergency department.

Now I’m well and truely ready to end my day and go to bed!
