My endo hasn’t wanted to give me a clear explanation of why he wants to run a test like this. Though from what I’ve gathered on previous visits, my adrenals have a few broken functions-

Almost zero cholesterol to pregnenolone conversion, and very low levels of 17-OHP. My cortisol levels are at the bottom of the "normal" range, the problem being that they don’t rise for stress and when they did rise under ACTH stimulation I collapsed. I somehow manage to have a hormonal cycle regarding my estradiol levels, though minus the progesterone. Also, my FSH level is almost zero as well.

Am I really gambling with my already poor health if I let him do this test??? (yipes)
