Also remember that CAH can be caused by other enzyme deficiencies, such as 11 hydroxylase. Did the docs only look at 17 OHP levels to rule out CAH? Did they look at ACTH, androgen, or cortisol levels as well?
Just out of curiosity, why do they think your son has adrenal hypoplasia vs CAH? I have no idea what the criteria for diagnosing hypoplasia are!
