My daughter is 18 yrs and we have dealt with her adrenal crisises all of her life...

Just based on experience, the florinef does not have much effect on an adrenal crisis, The steroid (Prednisone, cortef, Dex) is the heavy hitter. As a rule, if i suspect my daughter is having a problem (vomitting or diarrhea more than a couple of times) I double or triple her prednisone dosage (used the Solu-cortef when she was younger) if she throws up the prednisone within 30 minutes of the dosage, it is time for the emergency room.  Her endo says this is the beginning of a crisis, her body is rejecting the meds.
