When did your daughter get switched from Cortef to Prednisone? the endo brought this up last visit, and we are due a visit in mid July. I felt if she had done so well her entire life on Cortef, why switch.  The best answer I could get was because it was a 2xday medication instead of 3xper day.  I had "heard" from several here that prednisone caused some weight gain.  What can you - or anyone else for that matter tell me about switching from Cortef to Prednisone?
