Thank you for your suggestions. I guess I wasn’t too clear about why I have problems with giving him his nighttime medication...it’s not the crushed up pill that’s the problem. It’s that he needs the sodium chloride too (liquid form). In order for him to drink/eat it, it has to be diluted with food or more than an ounce of formula. Otherwise he’ll gag and throw it up. I wish it was as easy as giving him the pill, but he needs the SC too. (We used to do the syringe thing, but we don’t any more because it would take about 6 syringes to give it to him.)

So my main question is how do you give salt to a sleepy baby at 10:00PM? :~(
