As I recall, he told us that at nine months the liver will be capable of processing salt out of foods, but I’m not quite certain.  He is also somewhat skeptical as to whether or not my son is SW, so we are doing some genetics testing this month (also testing my 3 year old daughter).

I will say that giving him table salt was a huge breakthrough- he still will throw up occasionally, but because we are only doing it once or twice a day we don’t have to do it at the same time as his meds.  We basically couldn’t combine the saline with enough breast mild to make him take it down- very stressful!!
