My son also gets episodes where he comes out in this huge itchy rash all over his body, he takes anti histamines tablets and it does ease it.  I once took him to A&E and they did not seem concerned. I wondered if it was something to do with the immune system being suppressed by the hydro as we have never been able to find out what causes this allergy, it looks terrible.
