We are actually blessed to have one of the best pediatric endocrinologists in the United States.  Her name is Dr. Leslie Plotnick and she is at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore.  She actually studied under the doctor that developed the treatment for CAH.  She closely monitors our son and is the best, most caring doctor I’ve ever met.  My husband and I would like to move to a different state, but what keeps us here, is this doctor.  She knows it’s difficult to give the sodium chloride to infants, but as we know, it must be done.  I just wondered how others gave it to their babies. 

We were doing just fine with the salt until my son became too independent and doesn’t really want a bottle any more.  (He also self-weaned himself from the breast at 6 month’s and the paci around the same time.  He’s too interested in everything going on around him!)
