yes...it could definitely be  an adrenal crisis in reaction to an allergic reaction....any type of stressful situation or illness can cause a crisis, depending on how well the SWCAH is controlled.

Just a note....it has been my experience that as a rule ER dr’s are very uninformed about SWCAH, and you almost have to tell them what to do until the endo gets there, so I usually take what they say at little value... now more often than not when we visit the ER, the trauma Dr says "OK Mom what do we usually do?" LOL boy the stories I could tell LOL  :)
