Sue I breastfed and found the salt to be such a problem.  He would gag and spit and cry and get so upset that it took him a while to go to sleep again.  I asked my endo if I could up the sodium dose during waking hours and skip that 10 p.m. dose. Endo was fine with it as long as he got his dose.  Read my post below about underweight.  I didn’t like mixing the SC with food because he ate so little but I always salted his baby food and figured between the salted food and his spitting up it equalled out.  It must have because his renin and electrolytes were always on target.
