we started receiving some tests results back for our almost six month old boy whom we noticed developing pubic hair. So far electrolytes and thyroid are normal. Testosterone came back at 2.1 (normal is 0.1-1.2). I believe progesterone has not come back yet. We are still waiting for our referral to a pediatric endo. (the wait is the worst-always a long wait in Canada) Is anyone familiar with typical testosterone levels for boys with CAH when first discovered. From what i read so far, his symptoms seem consistent with simple virilizing cah. I have not read anywhere though about typical lab results. Our dr hasnt suggested any condition and is just awaiting our referral too. They seem to have no experience with this so other than what we have read on the internet, we’re pretty in the dark as well.
