Yes, I’ve done this but found out - that by taking extra that the benefits are there but also the risks.

I was feeling horrible so and this is just bad but hey live and learn - I started eating the hydro like tic tacs candy or M and M’s curious to see what would happen and felt really good  laughing euphoric - so then I called the endo office to let them know I was doing good and mentioned eating the hydro like candy. In the back I here the Endo going " she’s taking to MUCH!" the nurse or book keeper ...whoever was asking me how much I was taking .... I lost count and was just laughing. Felt wonderful- asked the nurse to asked the doc to order blood test because I felt the cortisone was low.  They didn’t really want to do it but humored me. Did the blood test on the Tues w/ results on Friday that turned out that idiot me was actually right : ) even with all the extra i was taking, it was still low   : ) Also that Fri. had the Gall Bladder out spent 10 days in the hospital w/ taking extra hydro & solu mederol (sp?) and that is where I learned that blood sugar may rise taking extra (I think) and .....freak me out got two insulin shots. All I could think was Adrenal gland condition, thyroid condition .......nooooooo not diabetes tooo! I think it was the extra cortisone that made the blood sugar rise or maybe panceratitis (sp) not all that sure.

Anyway also took the extra hydro for cancer radiation two years ago and the Rad Doc - solid guy there (my rock) thought it was cool about the hydro for the adrenal gland because the extra hydro would/did help with inflammation for the radiation. The radiation hurt at the end but I think would of hurt more without the hydro and as I was being examined the Doc mentioned that I didn’t have certain side effects ...something about mucus? that he was expecting. I chalk it up to the Hydro : )

This is so wrong and I will not do it but I’ve thought about just taking more synthroid for the Thyroid because life was a ball when I was hyper ; ) it was easier to lose weight also.

If I don’t exercise walk/ jog 5 miles   then I’ll notice being stiff w/ aches and pains plus being harder to move- like shuffle first before walking which might have somethign to do w/ the thyroid (I hope?)  I can get those aches and pains in my right  hip but the test say it is the left one w/ more osteophrosis. No pains in the knees but they will crack but not like they used to and sometimes I’ll have pain in the fingers. I do have this pain behind my one eye.

Taking more cortisone in leu of adrenal crisis    olymipic vomiting .....ohhh dear my skin is the color of white chalk is a trade off for worse things.  Dang fix one thing and another thing breaks down.

Gezzzz gloomy  : )
