Ashley has never had anxiety (11 SWCAH).  Almost all babies will be shy around strangers at some point in their lives.  Ashley hardley ever was and she’s never had trouble being in crowded places or on trains or buses or parades or anything like that.  Neither has my other child (non cah)

Now my sister (non cah) was terribly shy and could not stand to be around other people.  Not even my grandparents could calm her down.  I think it just really depends on the child.  My brothers and I were never shy or anxious or anything, she was the only one.
