My daughters levels are out & she is oversuppressed. We have just come back from NIH. They are an incredible resource & were able to give me a lot of important information that I had not rec’d from endo here. We have cut back on Florinef to .5 twice a day. Have to wait to change from Pediapred to Cortef because they don’t advise changing both drugs at the same time, she has been on Pediapred since birth.   Cortef 5mg is not available in Canada so I am waiting for next endo visit here to see what can be worked out. We are not far from US border & I will cross the line if necessary to get the right drugs. I had suspected that the reason for her lack of appetite & slow growth could be due to meds but my endo here told me they would not affect her growth. Endo here also told me that anxiety etc was not caused by the drugs. I am convinced that anxiety can be a symptom of over or undersuppression. This board is a valuable source of information & I am thankful to all of you who post & share information. There are so many variables and concerns dealing with CAH & we all want the same thing.
