Oh jeezum don’t overdo the Synthroid. My doc raised my dosage and it caused all sorts of problems. The usual one was lots of diarrhea, but it was a different one that scared the bejeezus out of me. I have a racing heart rate with my LOCAH - without dex my resting heart rate is between 120 and 140. Well, after the doc raised my Synthroid, my heart rate crept up to about 180 beats a minute, and if I exerted myself at all I fainted. It happened slowly so I never connected it with the Synthroid. I thought for sure that either I was developing a serious heart problem or that my LOCAH was out of control (had visions of adrenal tumors!), but once we lowered the dose of Synthroid my heart rate came down to about 100 (good for me). And that was just increasing it by 25 mcg!
