HI

More people have vit D deficiency then realize it... more so in the northern climates such as where I live. The BEST source of Vit D is the SUN and in the northern climates the sun is not strong enough during the winter months and still weak during early spring and late fall. ( I researched this) And... many people don’t eat enough of the foods high in vit d to compensate.
I learned about my own vitamin D blood levels because of the aches and pains I was having. My joints and bones. My muscles would ache. The aches reminded me of when I had the flu. I’m a cancer survivor so I am naturally slightly concerned and thus on top of any different symptom my body starts screaming out.
My doctor prescribed a mega dose of vitamin D that I *think* I took 1X a week for 6? ( or was it 8) weeks. I recently retested and my vit D levels are back in the normal range. I’m not surprised... I’m outside everyday AND it is summer now. :)

So - that’s my story.
