re: Hrt menopause

That’s a question I’ve been thinking about lately - what will the impact of my LOCAH be on menopause? I’ve seen very little on the board anywhere about menopause, but I’m guessing that’s because we’re mostly a younger crowd.

I ask because I understand a little about the impact of any hormone imbalance on other hormones - they’re all interconnected. Like Aimee, I’ve got thyroid issues, and I also have PCOS and insulin resistance. Does my CAH mean I’m likely to have a better or a harder time with menopause?

Of course, just with my LOCAH I’ve had hot flashes since I was a kid. Until they dxed the CAH and got me started on medication, I didn’t even bother owning a winter coat, even though I lived near the Canadian border. I was a furnace! Better now on medication.

So ladies - if you’ve been through menopause and have some kind of CAH, how was it?
