MeganI didn’t even know I had or was going through menopause until some routine blood tests indicated that I was. So I don’t know how long it had been happening as I had a hysterectomy (ovaries left intact) in 1996 and it was not ’til 2001 I was told I was post menopausal.
Minimal problems really, apart from feeling a bit sweaty overnight for a few years and didn’t know why (duh), and vag dryness. Nothing else at all.......except very rapid bone density loss after that.
No hot flushes nor mood changes - always my lovely placid self (hehe)!!!???
My mother (CAH carrier) also had a very non-event menopause although she didn’t get the osteoporosis that I have.
