Hi MR,

You’re very funny!!

No I don’t think it was the hyster that caused the menopause in my case - must have just been age!!!!

In 2001 I had stacks of tests done as I had been non-compliant with my meds and  I became very ill (had been for a while really- all the typical addisonian symptoms -except weight loss, with a few extras thrown in like hirsutism, oily hair, hair loss etc) . So while they were running all those tests they obviously tested the LH, FSH, oestrogen etc. and came to that conclusion. They could have fooled me - I didn’t have a clue.

I thought it may have been a skewed result because I was off my meds. I asked them to repeat LH, FSH etc a few months later after starting back on corticosteroids but alas - no different!
