do you really get the answers here when u need them the most

my question earlier was about the injection that is required to do acth stimulation test or if anybody can give me an answer as to how renin is calculated or if there is a stem test done for renin.

i am a bit confused as to what i am asking .

reason for that is that i got my swcah son tested for acth without getting him injected with some stimulator for the adrenal glands .this is what our dr.  did.

i mean is it the normal way to get acth done:

i gave him his meds at 9 in the morning and blood for his acth was taken out at 11 a.m,and the labs are out which say his acth is 13.10  ug/l,which was actually 1087 when he was born and his medication was not started at that time.

i have no idea ,can somebody help me out.correct me if i am wrong in preassuming stuff .somebody say out something.

i heard acth is done one before giving stimulator and one after one hr . of injecting.

how is p.r.a done.

say something guys.
