JenniMy husband and I are receiving pressure from his family to move back to their farm and take over. The farm is one hour from the nearest town and the road is subject to flooding. I have flately refused to move there with my 7 year old SWCAH daughter. However, they are now saying that we could live near town (population 8000 people) and my husband could travel to the farm each day. My husband really wants to do this but I am still concerned for the health of my daughter. The nearest large town (25000 people) is 2.5 hours away and the nearest city is 6 hours away. I am really concerned for the health of my daughter if we are living away from good medical facilities. The other problem is that I really don’t want to move away from the city where we are really settled. Am I using my daughter’s CAH as an excuse for not wanting to move? Am I being over-protective? My husband’s family don’t understand the implications of CAH, they are very domineering and I think my husband is not able to stand up to them. Does anyone have any thoughts?
