Thanks everyone for responses. It is interesting to hear everyone’s experiences and thoughts on the matter. I have always been one for stating "CAH will not control our lives" and I try to live by this. However, CAH is a serious medical conditions when adrenal crisis is involved. Day to day living is relatively easy and this is what most people see, but they are usually not around for the vomitting episodes which usually end up in a hospital visit. We are up to 2 years now since our last visit and that’s great, but that also probably means we are getting closer to another hospital visit. It will only take one time for us to be isolated and unable to get to medical treatment for it to end in disaster, and this is what sticks in my mind. Once again, thanks everyone for your input, it is much appreciated.Jenni
