Hi, when I went to NIH they also looked at my gums. That was the first time I ever heard of the gums darkening because of high acth levels.

 I have always been fair complected, with a few freckles on my nose. So once when my Dex was not weaned down properly after surgery the knuckles on my toes looked dark and grubby, like I hadn’t washed my feet for a long time. (dirty toe syndrome) lol. But once everything was back in control the discoloration went away.
