My 8 month old son has SWCAH and we have never had any genetic testing done. It was never explained to us that CAH is due to being closley related, but generations in my husband’s family and mine both seem to have known each other for a long time. No one has ever done a lot of family research to find out where everyone is from. I find it very interesting that it was explained to you that way and I am also curious (and a little creeped out) if that is true. If you find anything else out please let me know.
