My daughter is a week away from surgery.  I’m looking for suggestions on helping her get through the weekend on a liquid diet.  I also wanted to know how 2 or 3 year olds did when the cathetor was removed.  One teen told me it didn’t hurt at all and an adult told me it was painful.  Also, she has never had an I.V., I don’t think she is going to like that the needle stays in her arm .  Any and all responses I thank you in advance for taking the time to help .
