re: re: TEENAGE CAH KIDS/GOING OUT WITH FRIENDS/TAKING THEIR MEDS

I have 3 children, 2 with SWCAH.  They both take their emergency kits with them EVEYWHERE they go!  And yes, their friends are aware of their need for immediate attention if there is a sudden illness or injury.  It’s difficult to relinquish control to them at times,  but it’s a must.  My kids are responsible to remember their own meds 3 times a day and they self medicate now (ages 12 and 14).  I do double check on them about a half an hour after they are supposed to take them to be absolutely sure it’s done.   Good luck!
