We can’t keep Gatorade in the house. My kids love it. We have to limit it to whenever they’ve actually been sweating alot.

We had to go to my sister-in-law’s wedding shower yesterday. It was an hour drive in 100° heat with no air-conditioning. We took water there, drank Gatorade once we arrive, and loaded down with cold punch, leftover Gatorade and ice water for the trip back. I had Jonathan and Ginny take an extra Florinef (which is actually Fludro-whatever since the pink kind isn’t available anymore). They seemed to handle it okay. The high today was supposed to have been 102°, but I haven’t seen that confirmed yet. We stayed indoors under the care of our terribly overworked air-conditioner, which can only manage to keep the house down to around 85° during the heat of the day. (We live in a trailer). I’m dreading our next electric bill.

The highs are supposed to be over 100° all this week, and cooling down to the mid to low nineties next week, so we should get a little relief.
