Your child will see an adult endo at age 18 or even at 16

If you have your insurance provider book handy it may tell what ages the adult endo for the specific insurance accepts.

If your child is nearing age 18 ? then might be of benefit for the child to ask the ped endo who  he/she would feel the ideal adult endo would be and also an ideal primary care doctor.

You are part of a children’s teaching hospital?   With this situation, perhaps your child would move on to the adult hospital that may be linked and thus cordination of care and the opportunity to study all the way through this child’s CAH case along with whatever other medical conditions that may pop up along the way.

good luck
