I knmow I haven’t posted in quite a while and I just wanted everyone who has been helping me out to know what’s going on. My computer connection crashed and I haven’t been able to get online and post. I’ve been having to go to the library (where I am now). Anyhow I met with a pediatric Urologist and he is AMAZING! Anyone in Pennsylvania who needs a  good ped. Urologist this guy is great. His name is Stephen A. Zderic (sp?). He has done 15 surgeries in his career and I’m going to be his first adult surgery. Even though I am going to be his first adult surgery I am very confident that he knows exactly what he’s doing. He explained everything to me and eased ALL of my fears. He has a great personality and I’m really looking forward to him getting the surgery done. Dr. Zderic is at CHOP (Children’s Hospital of Pennsylvania) and I believe one of the other doctors, Dr. Douglas Canning has also done some of the surgeries but I’m not quite certain. He showed me an entire slide show that he would normally show his students but since I have a pretty good understanding of CAH now he showed the slide show to me. I also had a genitogram done but unfortunately it didn’t show what he needed to see.

The surgery isn’t scheduled yet but I should most likely be getting it in early to the middle of August. I’ll be in the hospital for a week (I guess because of my age) and he said I should be able to go back to work in 8 weeks.

Just wanted everyone to know what was going on. I don’t know when I’ll post again but I just wanted to share the good news.
