I can understand you desire and need to want to homeschool your son.......... but your hours of working are VERY demanding. I think education deserves and requires a FULL time teacher. Your parents teaching him while you are at work I believe would be terribly confusing. This is just my opinion as I TRIED to tutor my ADHD son when he was in elementary school. I felt so inadequate as a teacher and a parent at this time. I think as parents we sometimes expect more out of our children than they are capable of doing.......scholastic and development go hand in hand and add parenting and a job to this and at sometime you are going to overload yourself and become frustrated with some or all of your demands. I am just telling you how it went for me ......I know some parents homeschool and juggle everything and do fine. I just wanted to share my thoughts and express my concern for overload! Others will give you more positive feedback as this was just MY exerience. Good luck and I hope it works for you.
