Has anyone had an amniocentosis to detect cah invtro for a girl. My has cah and she is pregnant with a girl, the doctors want to give her an amnio to see if it is present in the baby. We want to decide if we should agree due to the risks associated with amnios and what is the pros and cons of treating the baby in vitro as opposed to waiting until shes born. They also want to use it to make sure that the baby is a girl. they think it is from the ultrasound. They also said if its a boy he wouldn’t be harmed at all since my sis produces more testosterone. We know very little about this condition and any information would be very helpful. Thanks.
