In our case they put Linda on Dex as soon as she found out she was pregnant. Then they did the amnio at 18 weeks, or thereabouts, to determine the gender and if the baby had CAH. In Benjamin’s case, he’s a boy and doesn’t have CAH, so Linda went off the Dex. In Ginny’s case, she’s a girl and has CAH, so Linda kept taking it. Ginny is partially virilize, so there’s no telling how bad it would have been had we not done the Dex.Danny Carlton
