re: participating in NIH study this week

We were there in March with our son. We stayed at the Children’s Inn and were only there for two nights. It is a fantastic place with lot’s of movies, a playroom, computer room and a couple of kitchens. I would take some snacks, microwave popcorn and goldfish, or fruit snacks, as getting through the security at the NIH is pretty intensive and if your only there a little while your probaby not leaving the compound. The only restaurants within walking distance are at the hospital, there are vending machines, but with young one it’s sometimes just easier to pack your stuff. Several places will bring food in to you at the Childrens Inn, just nice to have something to nosh on.

Dr. Merck and her staff were awesome and the facility is very impressive and the people are all kid friendly. Have a safe trip!!
