I remember those days!  It is so difficult and it feels like it will never change or get better!  My dtr with SWCAH is now 10 and blood draws are a piece of cake for her now.  But from age 1-3 it was dreadful-crying even before we got to the office, wondering do we tell her, let her figure it out, tell her in the car, etc. ? We did use the EMLA cream which helped, I had a stash of character band-aids in case there wasn’t any where the blood was drawn, and had a treat afterward.  It’s a tough time, but you will get through it!  Funny thing is, just when you think you can’t take it anymore, it get’s better!
