just wanted to say i completely agree with martha m. we just got back from the NIH and my swcah son, who is 2 1/2 years old, had a similar incident. we were discussing it with them. they were very confident it was the blood sugar. when i look back on that day, he did not eat well for no specific reason and then i put him down for a long nap. he acted the same way as your child when we woke him up. after i gave him the shot and slowly gave him gatorade and peanut butter crackers, he perked up back to normal. no fever, no runny nose, nothing else strange. it had to have been that his sugar had dropped.
