Ashley, as I read your story I have tears streaming down my face.  I have a 3 yr old SWCAH little girl and I am 5 weeks preg.  I have started the DEX treatment and I am scared to death.  NB screening is very important, However, two weeks is way too long to wait for it.  The way my daugther was diagnosed was due to genital abnormalities at birth.  Thank god the pediatrician I chose had seen it before and ran tests of his own and my daughter was diagnosed before we left the hospital.  I have always believed firmly in my instincts (although some call me paranoid).  Reading your story just confirms my feelings that I should ALWAYS go with my instinct (who cares what others think of my paranoia?) AND that doctors are wonderful, but that they certainly don’t know everything. 

I believe each of us with CAH children were given these little angels for a reason.
