hi all

i have a small query.

my son who is almost 6 months now has caught common cold and a lil bit of cough too.he had fever which was earlier 99.5 and then 100.our doc suggested not to fiddle with the dosage as the fever was not that high. he gave my son some drops for cold and a paracetamol for fever but no antibiotics.we checked the fever and it was like 98.8 deg. and we check the fever from under his arms.

i wish to know that the dosage that dr.’s recommend to double is when the temp is above 101.

 and shall i calculate his temperature as 1 deg + what we get coz i hear that the temp under the arms is suppose to be calculated lie this.
