re: Breastfeeding with CAH

I’m not a doctor or nurse and couldn’t tell you with any certainty about what may or may not happen although lots of women with CAH have children and really no trouble reported by them.

My uneducated guess is that you don’t take enough hydrocortisone or florinef to cause damage to your new baby.

I found this article and not sure if it would be of interest but the information at the end is positive about hydrocortisone. http://bytex.org/hydrocortisone

You have to consider that you have taken the stuff all the way thru being preg to help with the CAH  and so then why would breast feeding be any different  : )  ?

Happy baby stuff shopping!  I was born in August and what a great time to be born - you gonna have a LEO  ....MEOW ; )
