Do any of you know anything about a de novo mutation? I know that it is when a mutation occurs without the passing of the mutation from the parent. Our genetic counselor discussed it with us and said it was very rare but can occur. We had blood work done to test our status. Have any of you ever heard of this occuring with Cah?
