well i’m not sure if i’m classed as a child on dex but i’m nearly 15 and am on dex, To begin with it’s very difficult to get the right dose so do be patient as it can become destressing when you aren’t on the right dose because i developed bad stretchmarks,acne and weight gain(these all can happen for both girls and boys) but for me aswell (yeah lucky girls) it stops periods coming and can cause hair growth on places like stomach,back etc. Although i say all the negative things, since they dosed me right all my acne went,periods started for the first time, stretchmarks are fading and i’ve lost all the weight i gained so in all, the tears from when it wasn’t right were worth it for now being happy and i can go on dianette(sp?) for hair growth etc so be patient because it does take time........*talk, take new dose after 5 weeks do blood spots....wait another 5-6 weeks for results* and can repeat a few times but in the end it hopefully works out:)
