What part of the country do you live in again? Didn’t you mention you were from India? I can’t remember. Is this common practice? Do you know of any other children that are given this pill and what are the side affects? Does it make the child sick in any way? Do you have any other children that will need this? How does the pill work? Perhaps asking all these questions will help you determine if your child will need to be stress dosed for this. Was your child diagnosed with worms or is this like a preventive medicine treatment that is common in your country? Read about the drug, ask other parents, and if you do find out it is rough on the child’s system I would indeed stress dose unti the drug is done doing its job. Good luck Rashmi.
