Wayne GoodwinI would guess that it is probably the same rash that I get about every summer. It starts on my upper arms, and then proceeds down my trunk, front and back. Very little , if any, on the legs. It looks like acne, small red spots, usually not coming to a head, like acne. Some are real hard to get rid of, taking weeks, and often being very sore. Does this sound familiar??????????
If so, the only thing I have found to help control it is a lotion from the Mayo Clinic, in Rochester , Minn.
I went to Mayo 3 years ago, with a very bad case of this rash. I saw a Dr. Hand, and she even took pictures for training purposes, and as a dermotoligist (sp) , she said it wasn’t acne, nor was it caused by over medication, but she wasn’t sure what it was. I think it has to do with medications, as I have been changing meds slowly, and ta-da, the rash!!
The lotion is a special recipe of Mayo Clinic, it is called Nomlands. You can get your doctor to send them a script, and they will mail it to you. Cost is just about $10.00 with out insurance. If you need the address or phone number, let me know, and I will post it here.
Hope that helps!! By the way, I’m 52 !! Alittle old for acne 8-}
