My son is on a total of 0.34 mg/day...he is on the liquid dex so it is possible to titrate doses very exactly.

I recently asked for some dex pills while traveling. I can see where taking the pill on a regular basis could be problematic. The pills are tiny and difficult to split accurately. Even split into 1/4’s, it is still a relatively large amount of medicine...about 0.125 mgs. The liquid lets you measure to increments as small as 0.01 mg, which is 1/10 of that...so it is much easier to get accurate doses in order to avoid side effects.
