Hi Natalie, I’m still here at the Children’s Inn having a good time. Anyway, Carol is going to see if I can stay on Hydro. I’m have been on 25mg since Friday and I feel relaxed somewhat. I can totally relate to the anger, I was on dex for 12 years and well..it didn’t go away for me. I think the 25mg of hydro is sufficient. I felt kinda weird the first 2 days but after that I’ve been fine with lots of energy. So we’ll see.
People really don’t like talking about anger and CAH, because usually they attribute the anger to the actual CAH or treatment by docs, or living with symptoms of CAH. But to me in my heart I feel that the Dex gave my a negative energy, and the spiraling after double dosing on Dex can be awful, at least to me anyway.
Maybe a way to explain the feeling would be like a rubberband being stretched, lol, can snap any moment. I have not felt like it at all since taking the hydro.
I think I posted a few times about the negative energy of Dex. I hope the feeling subsides for you, and I’m glad that you are aware of the change in how you feel and can link it to the Dex.
